It is summer season and drought in Rajasthan once again. This time dry water is not about petrol-diesel. The shortage of diesel is more than that of petrol.

After the reduction of excise duty on petrol and diesel by the central government, oil companies have reduced the supply. For the first time in Rajasthan, this situation has happened that 3 thousand pumps are on the verge of drying up. If there is no supply in 24 hours, 500 pumps will stop.

In Pali district, 14 pumps of ESSAR and Reliance have already been locked. More than 1500 pumps of Reliance and Essar were closed in the state 15-20 days ago. The sale of oil has been completely stopped here. Of these, maximum 1100 pumps are from Essar and 300-400 pumps from Reliance.

Dainik Bhaskar investigated the petrol pumps across the state, in which shocking circumstances came to the fore. Oil supply is being affected in 16 districts including Udaipur, Jodhpur, Banswara, Dausa and Alwar for the last 48 hours.

Pump operators told that for 7 days, oil companies are not supplying more than 6500 petrol pumps in the state as per the demand. Due to this, the situation of running out of oil has arisen at more than three thousand pumps.

In such a situation, if there is no supply of diesel and petrol in the next 24 hours, then more than 500 petrol pumps in the state will be completely closed. There will be dry run condition at more than five thousand pumps. Petrol and diesel will be left here only for emergency.

All the pumps in the state depend on IOCL, the rest stopped supply
President of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association Sunit Bagai said that the petrol pumps of the state are running only on the basis of IOCL. Because HPCL and BPCL have completely reduced the supply of petrol and diesel. Along with the petrol pump operators, the general public and the Rajasthan government are also facing its loss. If the situation continues like this, then the petrol pump will have to be closed.
