Six IPS officers including SIT chief transferred to UP in Lakhimpur Kheri case. Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: The state government on Friday transferred six IPS officers, including three of the rank of Inspector General and three of the rank of Deputy Inspector General.
Upendra Agarwal who have been associated with DGP Headquarters was made DIG Devipatan Range. He was also leading the nine members special investigation team (SIT) was formed by the UP DGP to oversee the Kheri violence in which eight people, including four farmers, were killed.
However, UP DGP Mukul Goel said that Upendra Agarwal will continue to head the SIT.
Similarly, DIG Devipatan, Rakesh Singh has been shifted to Prayagraj in the same capacity while IG Prayagraj KP Singh was made the new IG Ayodhya Range.
