SIT action on Hisar’s Nalwa Lab: Property will be confiscated, CJM Court approves; Accused of preparing lakhs of fake corona reports in Haridwar Kumbh Mela

ED raided Hisar’s Nalwa lab.

Haridwar CJM court has accepted the petition of the SIT probing the fraud committed in the Corona investigation during the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar. On September 3, the SIT had filed a petition in the court to confiscate the properties of labs that have been involved in the scam. The operators of these labs are neither appearing before the SIT nor giving any answer.

While hearing the petition, the court ordered to confiscate the properties of the operators of Hisar’s Nalwa Lab, Dr. Navtej Nalwa, Max Corporate, Chandani Lab. Investigating officer Amarjeet Singh said that permission has been received from the court. Now his team will attach the property by issuing a notice to these labs located in Hisar, Chandigarh, Delhi.

Hundreds of sadhus became corona positive due to fake test
For the Kumbh Samagam organized in Haridwar, a tender was given by the government to these labs to conduct the corona test of those who came to the fair. Instead of conducting tests, lab operators had taken money from the government by preparing fake corona reports of lakhs of people. For the Kumbh Mela, the government kept claiming that no infection has spread here, but hundreds of sadhus who came to the gathering were hit by Corona. The matter had caused a humiliation for the government at the international level.

A person hailing from Punjab sent a complaint to the Indian Council of Medical Research that he had received a message on his mobile phone to undergo a corona test, even though he had not attended the Kumbh Mela. Taking cognizance of this matter, ICMR informed the Uttarakhand government about it. After this, Health Secretary Amit Negi got the matter investigated and the big game of doing fake tests of all the three labs got exposed. In Haridwar, 700 corona tests have been shown on 1 house number itself, while tests of 50 people have been shown on 1 mobile number.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that fake phone numbers were used for the corona test. The possibility of disturbances has been expressed in more than 1 lakh corona reports. In the Corona investigation, the CMO of Haridwar has filed a case against Max Corporate, Chandani Lab, Nalwa Pathology under sections 420, 468, 471, 188, 120B, 269, 270 and Disaster Act Act. In this fraud, the ED team raided the Nalwa Lab in Hisar on August 8 and seized a large quantity of goods.
