Singer and TV show host Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal are blessed with a baby girl. The couple expanded their family on February 24, when the baby was born at a hospital in Mumbai. Earlier, Aditya had openly expressed his wish for a baby girl and it seems that his wish has come true.
Talking to ETimes, Aditya said, “Everyone kept telling me that it would be a baby. But I secretly hoped that we would have a baby girl. I believe fathers are the closest to their daughters.” , and I am glad that my little girl has arrived. Shweta and I feel so blessed that we are parents now.”
Speaking about his father, singer Udit Narayan’s reaction to this lovely news, Aditya said that he is excited and calls the baby ‘Pari’. “My father is in shock and he keeps looking at our baby and calls him Pari! Initially, he was very scared to take her in his arms, but after a few days, I held him in my lap and then gave him confidence. Got to play with her. I’ve already started changing diapers and doing all the fatherly duties. My little one has eyes on me, and I think she looks like me. I’m in for this gift I thank God for it.”
Aditya further said that he was in the delivery room when the child was born. He said that he has ‘more love and respect’ for Shweta, now that he has to see the child giving birth despite the pain.
Earlier in January, Aditya announced Shweta’s pregnancy through an Instagram post.
