Siddhant Chaturvedi talks about Ranveer and Deepika
Siddhant Chaturvedi, who has worked with both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, spoke about how different they are and how they make their co-stars feel comfortable.
Siddhant Chaturvedi was a part of the Hindi film industry for quite some time, but his performance as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy earned him recognition. The actor was perfect in his portrayal of the rapper, who inspired Ranveer Singh’s Murad to follow his dreams. Now, in a recent interview, Siddhant has revealed that he was the star opposite Ranveer Singh when he first met her.
Speaking to ETimes, Siddhant revealed, “I was star-struck around Ranveer. A day after watching Padmaavat, I had my first reading for Gully Boy with him. I was blown away by his portrayal of Alauddin Khilji. It was disturbing to play MC Sher with the actor who played Khilji, but when I met him to read, he was totally Murad (Ranveer’s character in Gully Boy). There was nothing like Khilji in him. I was amazed at how easily and flawlessly he presents himself to his screen characters. ,
