Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has moved the courtroom looking for dismissal of the enchantment filed in opposition to her in connection to the 2007 obscenity case. The plea had challenged the Justice of the Peace’s order of discharging her from the case. In her plea, Shilpa has claimed that the one allegation in opposition to her is that she didn’t protest when Hollywood actor Richard Gere kissed her and subsequently this doesn’t make her a conspirator.

“That the respondent (Shilpa Shetty Kundra) is a sufferer of malicious proceedings and harassment by the hands of the unique complainant. The respondent is a longtime artist and has all the time acted responsibly in her public life and personal life,” the reply submitted by advocate Prashant Patil stated as reported by The Instances of India.
