Though the title of Shahid Kapoor’s film has not been announced yet, it is scheduled to go on floors in the second half of 2023.
Shahid Kapoor has been roped in for the next film of noted Malayalam director Roshan Andrews. On Thursday, Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films announced their action-thriller project starring Shahid in the lead.
Reportedly, the film will revolve around a brilliant but rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. As he digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, which leads him down an exciting and dangerous path.
Talking about his project, Shahid Kapoor said, “It is rare to find a subject which has action, thrill, drama and suspense all packed in one script and I am really looking forward to it. Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s It’s a privilege for me to collaborate with whom I have previously worked with in Haider and Kaminey. We are also long time neighbours, haha! Roshan Andrews is a seasoned filmmaker whose Malayalam filmography is stupendous. We have been together for a few months now and it will be a pleasure working with such a brilliant cinematic mind. I can’t wait to bring this exciting, gripping and thrilling story to the masses.”

Though the title of the film has not been announced yet, it will go on floors in the second half of 2023 and release in 2024.
