Among the 9 divisions of Maharashtra State Board, Konkani division has recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.01 per cent.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 results today. Candidates who appeared for their class 12 board exam in the state can check their scorecard on the official websites – mahahsscboard.in, mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org and hsc.mahresults.org.in. Over 14 lakh students appeared for the board exams in the Maharashtra State Board held between February 21 and March 21.

Out of 14.16 lakh candidates, 60,780 students appeared in Science stream, 4,04,761 students had registered for Arts stream, while 3,45,532 students had registered for Commerce stream. Among the 9 divisions of Maharashtra State Board, Konkani division has recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.01 per cent.

Pune – 93.34%

Kolhapur – 93.28%

Amravati – 92.75%

Nagpur – 90.35%

Lazy – 90.37%

Mumbai – 88.13%

Nashik – 91.66%

Aurangabad – 91.85%

A total of 12,92,468 students passed the exam and the overall pass percentage stood at 91.25 percent.

Science: 96.09 percent (highest)

Arts: 84.05 percent

Commerce: 90.42 percent

Vocational Courses: 89.25 percent

Overall: 91.25 percent

Last year, around 14.85 lakh students had registered for the MSBSHSE exam and the overall pass percentage was 94.22. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.35 and the latter at 93.29 per cent.

This year the pass percentage of girls is 93.73 and that of boys is 89.14. At 2,90,25, Mumbai has the highest number of candidates appearing for the board exams.
