Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh-starrer Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3, which is currently underway with its third season, may soon be over if recent reports are to be believed. Though no official word has been released regarding the end of the show, a recent report in The Times of India revealed that the lead actress of the show Erica is planning to quit the series. The report also states that as per the speculations, the latest season of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi will be over by the end of this month.
The series first aired on Sony Television in 2016 and featured Shaheer and Erica as the lead pair Dev and Sonakshi. Veteran actress Supriya Pilgaonkar plays the role of Dev’s mother Ishwari Dixit. Since it first aired on television, the storyline of the series has attracted audiences and managed to gain a huge fanbase due to the portrayal of the characters by the lead actors.
Soon after the pandemic, the third season of the show returned with Shaheer and Erica in their career-defining roles. However, both the actors are now engaged in other shows as well and juggling between multiple schedules could be one of the reasons why the show is going off-air, as per reports.
Shaheer has worked in several music videos this year, such as Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai with Mamta Sharma, and Baarish Ban Jaana with Hina Khan. In the second season of Pavitra Rishta, Shaheer is playing the role of Manav opposite Ankita Lokhande. Shaheer is reprising the role played by the late Sushant Singh Rajput in the ongoing season.
Shaheer, Erica and Supriya also share a friendly relationship off-screen, as evidenced by some of their Instagram posts. An Instagram post shared by Shaheer last month featured him and Supriya in a selfie. The actor addressed his on-screen mother as “Mamma Meri Maa”.
The show currently airs on Sony Television from Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm.
