UP Elections: Priyanka Gandhi will flag off 3 ‘Pratigya Yatras’ in the electoral state today.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will flag off three ‘Pratigya Yatras’ in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday with an aim to garner support for the party from every part of the state ahead of the crucial 2022 assembly elections.

For these yatras, a route has been prepared to divide the state into three parts.

The first route has been prepared from Awadh in Barabanki to Jhansi by connecting the districts of Bundelkhand, while the second route has been prepared for various districts of western Uttar Pradesh and Brij region.

Similarly, the third route has been earmarked for Purvanchal region.

Apart from Barabanki, the yatra will cover two other cities, Saharanpur and Varanasi.

The second journey passing through nine districts will start from Barabanki and end at Jhansi in Bundelkhand. The third journey will start from Saharanpur district of Western Uttar Pradesh and pass through 11 districts and end at Mathura.

All these journeys will end on November 1.

Former Congress MP and Chhattisgarh party in-charge PL Punia said that after flagging off the yatra, the general secretary will talk in detail about the seven proposals prepared by the party.

As a first proposal, he has announced to give 40 percent ticket to Congress women candidates during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and smartphones to Class 10 pass girl students and e-scooters to graduate girl students if the party comes to power. in the state.

Congress’ Digital Media Convenor and party spokesperson Anshu Awasthi said, “With regard to the atrocities being committed by the BJP government against Dalits, Backward Castes and Brahmins in order to empower and respect the women of the state politically, the youth should be given employment. The party has started ‘Pratigya Yatra’ on the instructions of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for development as well as for providing, restoring the respect and rights of farmers.
