Shah Rukh Khan attends the opening ceremony of ILT20 in Dubai. The actor will soon be seen in Pathan.
Shahrukh Khan is currently awaiting the release of his much awaited next film ‘Pathan’. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor jetted off to Dubai to attend the opening ceremony of DP ILT20. While the actor was there to show his support to his team, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, the actor treated fans with a few lines from Pathan.
In a video shared by the official account of his team, Shahrukh Khan He was seen greeting the fans as he made his way to the center of the cricket ground. He congratulated team captain Sunil Narine and the captains of other teams participating in the tournament. The video was shared with the caption, “Can there be a better way to start our tournament? #DCvADKR #BornToStorm #ADKR”.
Several fans took to the comments section to cheer for him. One of them wrote, ‘There is no better way than this’. “Badshah is here” read other comments. Another user wrote, “#pathan ki chaal aur baki sab bahal”.
In another video, shared by a fan account, Shah Rukh was seen kicking off the tournament with the dialogues of Pathan. The actor said the lines, “Party Pathaan ke ghar me rakhoge… toh mehmaan nawaazi ke liye Pathaan toh aayega, aur saath me patakhe bhi layega.”
Pathan marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan to the big screen after four years. Earlier talking about ‘Pathan’, Shah Rukh shared that he wanted to do an action film since a long time. He said, “Four years ago, I was feeling a bit weak, had injuries, surgery, but I thought I should do something which I haven’t done before. I should be very fit physically. Chopra and Siddharth Anand, ‘Make an action picture’. So, he told me, ‘Sir, what are you saying, you will get tired’. I told him at least try it. I told him, ‘I may not be as good as Tiger (Shroff) or Duggu (Hrithik Roshan), but I will try to give my best.
Pathan, played by Siddharth Anand, also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. John will be seen playing the role of a terrorist who plans to launch a brutal attack on the country. Shah Rukh Khan plays an officer who steps in to stop John from carrying out his evil plans. They will be seen performing high-octane action sequences. The recently released trailer has blown away the fans. Salman Khan Will also make a cameo in the film as ‘Tiger’. The film is all set to release on January 25.
