The arrested accused have been identified as Zaheer Ahmed (30), Imamuddin Qasim Khan (57), Rizul Sheikh (35). Ram Singh, 32, Kalu Sheikh, 55, Tapan Mandal, 48 and Azim Sheikh, 28.
Police said that all the accused are temporarily residing in Ulhasnagar, out of which Zaheer and Imamuddin are residents of Uttar Pradesh and Ram Singh are residents of Nepal, while the remaining four accused are residents of Bihar. Jharkhand.
On Sunday morning, the accused were committing a crime in Camp No. 4 near the water tank when the police team caught them red handed.
The police suspect that the accused may have committed a similar offense in the past and are probing it.
