“The stadium is of international standard where all athletes train every day. We have recently revamped the facility. Built and commissioned in 2006, the stadium features a 400-metre synthetic track and spectator seating. Chopra, a junior commissioned officer Indian Army, had a brief javelin thrower training in the early phase of his career in ASI.
“Chopra will interact with other athletes at the ASI during his maiden visit,” the official said.
