Maharashtra minister and top NCP leader Nawab Malik on Sunday said BJP leader Mohit Kamboj is the mastermind in the cruise drug case. Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan was arrested in this case. BJP leaders were involved in a conspiracy to demand ransom for Shahrukh’s son or Mumbai Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau Sameer Wankhede.
In a press conference, Nawab Malik said that the seizure of drugs from a cruise in Guwahati was done for kidnapping and demanding ransom. At first glance, this is not the case as it seemed. The Nawab said that Aryan did not buy the ticket for the cruise party, but Prateek Gaba and Amir Furniturewala brought him there.
Malik said Aryan had met outside the Oshiwara graveyards in Kamboj and Wankhede on October 8, days after his arrest in the drug case. Malik said, “After this, Wankhede panicked and complained to the police that he was being chased. They were lucky that the CCTV nearby was not working and we did not get the feed of that meeting.
Earlier on Saturday, Kamboj alleged that Sunil Patil, a close aide of NCP leaders, including former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, was the mastermind of a cruise drug case.
