Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu displayed grace and glamour at the Critics’ Choice Film Awards (CCFA) held earlier this week. The actress chose to make a bold sartorial appearance at the red carpet event held in Mumbai. The 36-year-old wore a gown by designer duo Gauri and Nainika.
Samantha’s OOTD came in a black dress with a strappy plunging neckline followed by an emerald green silk long skirt. The number featured sequined floral embroidery on an emerald green fabric, adding a touch of sparkle to a classy ensemble. Styled by celebrity stylist Pritham Jukalkar, the actress opted for stilettos in a metallic shade and wore her hair in a loose ponytail. Samantha kept her makeup minimal and went for an eye-catching finish. Samantha’s eyes and lips have been given a lot of attention in the make-up done by Avani Rambhia.
This isn’t the first time Samantha has opted for a less than glamorous look. Earlier in January, the actress showed off how she loves wearing Dior’s wardrobe. She opted for a pleated beige skirt and a sleeveless fleece-like jacket, with a white collared shirt underneath. Samantha’s makeup matched her sartorial palette. The color of her lips was of neutral gloss shade. Samantha accessorised her look with a Christian Dior sling bag. The actress left her hair open for the photoshoot.
Back in December, Samantha was the digital cover star of Elle India magazine. For one of her looks as the cover star, the South Indian actress wore a Rudraksh Dwivedi rust tulle halter gown. The dreamy gown had a soft sheen and ethereal grace. Samantha posed in the gown with a makeup style that was complementing her gown.
