After the arrest of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Tajinder Singh Bagga of Punjab Police, there has been a ruckus in the politics of the state. BJP and Congress leaders have opened a front against CM Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal. Also, this action has been called the politics of revenge.

Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bhajwa termed it as a politics of vengeance. At the same time, State Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Vading described today as a sad day for the Punjab Police. On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal of maligning the image of Punjab Police. BJP MLA and Punjab President Ashwani Sharma has said that the AAP government is using the Punjab Police for revenge and hooliganism. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang has described BJP leader Bagga as a news trader.

Bajwa said – AAP is doing the politics of vengeance

Congress leader Bajwa said the whole spectacle of arresting BJP spokesperson Tajinder Bagga is nothing but the politics of vengeance by AAP bosses in Delhi. Addressing Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he said that instead of pleasing one’s masters in Delhi, focus should be on governance.

Vading calls it a sad day for Punjab Police

PPCC President Raja Vading said that it is a sad day for Punjab Police. Bhagwant Mann is inexperienced and Arvind Kejriwal is a dictator. Our police in Kurukshetra has been kept as ‘accused’ for ‘kidnapping’. The responsibility of putting the police in such a shameful situation should be fixed.

Sharma said- Punjab Police was used with vengeance

AAP government is using Punjab Police for vendetta and goondaism. The arrest of Tajinder Singh Bagga is an example of this. On someone saying something against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is publicly committing hooliganism by registering a fake case against him using the police.

Sidhu said – don’t spoil the image of Punjab Police

Sidhu said that Tajinder Bagga could be from a different party, there could be ideological differences. But the biggest sin is to settle personal accounts through Punjab Police for political vendetta. Stop tarnishing the image of Punjab Police by politicizing it.

Kang said – Bagga is infamous

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Malinvad Singh Kang called BJP leader Tajinder Singh Bagga a malign and news seller.
