Ruckus on PM Modi, question on Channi government: Haryana CM said – shameful act of Congress; Minister Vij said – Prime Minister’s visit to Punjab is a big risk for the country

Politics in Punjab has intensified after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned midway due to security reasons. While Haryana CM Manohar Lal has termed it as a shameful act, Home Minister Anil Vij said that Narendra Modi’s departure to Punjab is a big risk for the country.

Security lapse has been cited as the reason for the cancellation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ferozepur rally in Punjab. His convoy stayed in a flyover for about 15-20 minutes. After Modi’s statement that ‘thanks to my CM for I was able to reach the airport alive’, the BJP has become an attacker on the Congress government of Punjab.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal tweeted that it is a shameful act that the convoy of PM Shri Modi ji reaching there to launch development projects worth thousands of crores for the welfare of Punjab was stopped. This lapse in PM’s security smells of Congress conspiracy, the people of Punjab will never forgive Congress.

On the other hand, Home Minister Anil Vij has also raised questions on the Punjab government. By tweeting, he described the Punjab government as an incompetent Congress government. Vij said that incompetent Congress government in the border state which could not provide security to the Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi. Narendra Modi’s going to Punjab is a big risk for the country.
