New Delhi: In a major organizational change, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Appointed Arun as its joint general secretary on Sunday Kumar Interface and accompanying coordinator for political issues BJP.
Kumar, who was recently promoted to the post of national media head for a few years, was replaced by another joint general secretary Krishna Gopal who has held office since 2015. The change was announced at an ongoing meeting RSS Full time in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh.
When contacted, RSS Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar confirmed the development and said Arun Kumar The Sangh will be the coordinator for political issues including BJP.
He further added that this is a regular exercise and the Sangh keeps on shifting its workers from one responsibility to another.
Earlier this year, the RSS underwent a generational shift by upping its organizational structure Dattatreya Hosabale Arun including General Secretary and Arun Kumar Ramdatt Chakarddhar as Joint Secretary General. Kumar’s appointment is being seen as another major step towards making the RSS more active on its agenda, including on the political front. The RSS representative is invited to major BJP organizational meetings and also plays an important role in organizational appointments.
