RRR has finally entered the Rs 1000 crore club! SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR has crossed a spectacular milestone at the box office, becoming the third film in the history of Indian cinema to cross Rs 1000 crore worldwide box office collection Is. The other two Indian films on the list are SS Rajamouli’s record-breaking Baahubali: The Conclusion, aka Baahubali 2 and Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “RRR crosses 1000 cr worldwide… #SSRajamouli does it again… Brings back the pride of #Indian Cinema… #RRR Gross BOC: ₹ 1000 crores [Worldwide]… #JrNTR and #RamCharan debut in ₹1000 crore club…” He also revealed that the Hindi version of RRR is also doing great business at the box office.

The team of RRR shared the poster with the box office milestone on Instagram and Alia Bhatt took to the comments section to share her reaction. “Woohoo,” she wrote, adding a series of hand-raised emoji.
RRR is a fictional period drama that revolves around two Indian freedom fighters of the early 20th century. While Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Sitaram, Jr NTR is assigned the role of Kumaram Bheem. The film also had cameos by Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
Recently, the team of RRR was seen attending a success party in Mumbai. The massive bash was attended by Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Aamir Khan, among other actors and stars from the industry. During the bash, Jr NTR – also known as Taarak – expressed his wish for the RRR sequel. Taarak said, “Rajamouli sir needs to make RRR 2. He also joked that there is a lot of pressure on the filmmaker to make a sequel.
At the same event, Rajamouli said that he is still trying to “cool off the heat of the film”, as reported by Hindustan Times. The director said, “Let it cool down. Of course, it will be a great pleasure for me, not because of what it will do at the box office, but because I will have more time to spend with my brothers. Would be more exciting for me. But take the time to get to know what we have.”
