It examines the full scope of Rosa Parks’ life, from her birth in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1913 to her nomination at the Montgomery NAACP in 1943, to the dramatic events of the 1960s, and her continuing work until her death in 2005. Each chapter provides an exploration of a period in Park’s life, depicting the people, places and events that were shaped and shaped by him.
