Last week, Uthappa’s wife Sheethal shared a post on Instagram. She posted a video which showed her son, Neele Nolan, Dhoni’s daughter Ziva and Suresh Raina’s daughter Gracia playing and having fun together.
CSK bought Uthappa for Rs 3 crore in the IPL 2021 auction. After Shane Watson’s retirement, the franchise was looking for an opener. Uthappa was traded to Rajasthan Royals. Expressing his happiness on receiving the services of CSK for the season, he said, “I am very excited and proud to represent a team like CSK, happy that the team has believed in my potential and I am a proud player. Hoping for a good season.”
CSK were placed second in the standings table with 10 points after the IPL was postponed earlier this year. He won five of the seven matches he played. Delhi Capitals played eight games and topped the table with 12 points. The Chennai-based outfit will take on arch-rivals Mumbai Indians on September 19 to open the UAE leg of this season. The second leg of the league stage will end on October 8. Qualifier 1 and the final will take place at the Dubai International Stadium. Qualifier 2 and Eliminator will be played in Sharjah.
