Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020. A day before his death anniversary, his wife Neetu Kapoor posted an old picture of their family. It was his daughter Riddhima Kapoor who first posted the picture. On her Instagram stories, Neetu Kapoor reposted the picture shared by her daughter Riddhima. A day before her father’s death anniversary, Riddhima tweeted a picture of her entire family. Riddhima captioned the picture as, “Love this pic #family.”

The actor breathed his last on April 30, 2020 at the age of 67. He underwent cancer treatment in New York after being diagnosed in 2018. The actor visited Mumbai once again in September 2019 and was welcomed home by his family.
During the treatment of the late actor, his friends and family came to meet him in New York. Members of the film industry honored him even after his death. The actor’s son Ranbir Kapoor has spoken about the hardships he faced both during his father’s illness and after his death. The Kapoor family keeps posting about him on social media from time to time.
