Rishabh Shetty’s wife shared a few pictures from the birthday party of their daughter Radya, who just turned a year old.
Rishabh Shetty earned unparalleled love and fame through his mega-blockbuster pan-India film Kantara. The action-thriller film, written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, grossed over Rs 350 crore at the box office in addition to widely positive reviews. As his daughter Radya turned a year old, the actor and his wife Pragathi Shetty threw a birthday party for her.
On Thursday, Pragathi Shetty shared a few pictures from the special occasion on her Instagram handle, in which Rishabh Shetty posed in an unbuttoned black shirt and trousers. On the other hand, Pragati compliments her boyfriend in black dress. Radya broke the dress in a cute outfit of purple color. In all the pictures, Radya can be seen being held in the arms by Rishabh and Pragati respectively. They also posed for a lively group photograph with the cake decorated in the middle. Pragati’s caption read, “My personal gratitude to all the amazing people who took the time to be a part of Radya’s 1st birthday celebration! (with heart emoji)”.
Kannada film stars Darshan and Upendra Rao also attended the party. Following his social media post, several fans flooded the comments section with their own birthday wishes. One of them wrote, “Our best wishes!” Another commented, “Happy birthday Radya Puttani! D Boss!!” Someone else said, “Boss of the world film industry!” One fan said, “Happy Birthday!” Another wrote, “God bless your family and keep making good films for the society!” However, a section of fans were a bit bewildered at not seeing Rakshit Shetty, Yash and Kiccha Sudeep in the pictures. Rishabh and Rakshit share a great bond. Another fan commented, “But where is our Rakshit?” Another said, “Where are Sudeep, Yash, Rakshit sir?”
After the immense success of Kantara, Rishab Shetty is working on the second part of his film. However, it will be a prequel rather than a sequel. Hombale Films founder Vijay Kiragandur shared an update and said that the actor-director has already started working on Kantara 2. The shoot requires rainy weather, and we intend to release the film across India in April or May next year.”
