Nupur Sharma has been receiving threats ever since she made controversial remarks about Prophet Mohammad. Regarding which the Delhi Police has registered an FIR against the threats on Monday. Officials said that the investigation has been started in the matter.
The police have booked IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, caste, place of birth, residence), 506 (criminal intimidation), 507 (criminal intimidation by anonymous communication) 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) against unknown persons.
