The International Golf Course is being developed at a location between the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna River with a budget of Rs 90 crore which has several high rise apartment complexes.
To start the work, the authority had floated tenders in July last year and work is going on at the site. The club will be self-sufficient and will work on alternative sources of energy. A society will be formed to run the club.
Meanwhile, TOI has learned that the Noida authority is soon going to forward the international golf course as well as heliport project report in Sector 151A to the state government.
The heliport being planned at Kambakshpur village, off the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, will be developed on a public-private-partnership model.
The Authority had engaged the services of RITES as consultants for preparation of the detailed project report for the heliport. Officials said the state government is expected to get the final approval within a month.
