Recover Top Detection in Pune Metropolitan Region, Testing Count Crosses 85 Lakhs | Pune News – Times of India

PUNE: 229 COVID-19 patients have recovered successfully Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) as compared to 200 new cases being added to the tally here on Friday.
Less than 100 cases were also reported in PMC, PCMC and rural areas on Friday. Pimpri Chinchwad areas recorded the lowest number of new cases (45) in PMR in the last 24 hours, followed by PMC and rural parts, which added around 75 new cases each.
With this, the positive caseload in the region is above 11.55 lakh, while its recovery count has reached 11.33 lakh.
With 12,472 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the progressive number of sample tests in the region crossed 85 lakh on Friday evening.
A report released by District Health Officer Bhagwan Pawar said that three patients died due to the infection in the area on Friday. The number of active patients reached 2,163 on Friday evening.
