Ravan, Babar, Aurangzeb Could Not Destroy Sanatana then…: UP CM Yogi

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the opposition over DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statement against ‘Sanatan’ and said that when Ravana could not destroy Sanatan Dharma with all his arrogance, then how can petty political parasites do so?

Ever since the debate over the issue started,  CM Yogi reacted to the ongoing debate on Sanatan Dharma for the first time. He was at an event organized to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami in Lucknow where CM said that at a time when the country is moving in the right direction with new energy and enthusiasm, some people are not able to digest it.

They do not like the rising global prestige and status of India. In Amrit Kaal, India is progressing rapidly, writing new achievements every day. To weaken and stop the progress of the country, some people have resorted to pointing fingers at our Sanatan Dharma, said Yogi Adityanath.

Babar and Aurangzeb were not able to destroy it

CM Yogi said that Sanatan, which survived the arrogance of Ravana as well as Mughal emperors like Babar and Aurangzeb, will not be harmed by those who are openly talking about destroying it.

CM Yogi said that at a time when our country is hosting world leaders in the G20 summit with the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, it is unfortunate that some selfish people are talking about destroying Sanatan Dharma.

Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while chairing the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers, asked Udhayanidhi to aggressively counter Stalin’s attack on Sanatan Dharma.

People are angry over Udhayanidhi’s statement. BJP leaders and saints demanded that he take back his words and apologize. The BJP linked the DMK leader’s statement to the opposition group India, saying his words only reflected the anti-majority mindset of the alliance.
