Rashmika Mandanna, who was recently seen on the big screen playing the role of Srivalli in the multilingual superhit, “Pushpa: The Rise”, unveiled the teaser of “Bhamakalapam” on Sunday.
The delicious home-made thriller, directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, will premiere on 11 February on Telugu OTT platform Aha. Filmmaker Bharat Kamma, known for “Dear Comrade”, is the show runner.
Rasmika said, “The moment I saw the teaser, it was so funny.” “There are so many interesting ideas. It’s a lovely story but shot in a very funny, interesting way. I wish Priyamani Garu, who plays Anupama, gets lots of love.”
The teaser is set amidst an old apartment, which revolves around Anupama, a housewife who runs a YouTube cookery channel and is also notorious for gossiping and poke her nose at other families’ affairs. She even says that it’s so fun to know what’s going on in other people’s lives.
In the middle of a rainy night, the focus shifts to a cold-blooded murder in the apartment. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the crime scene, with some characters expressing their concerns about some. From the goons to the guns and the chase, it is clear that a worried Anupama is in trouble and a key to the murder.
composer Justin Prabhakaran (known for the music of “Radhe Shyam” and “Dear Comrade”) has done it again; Deepak Kumar has cranked the camera and Viplav is in charge of editing.
