Noida: RapidX train will run between Noida to Ghaziabad. On the instructions of GDA Vice President Rakesh Kumar Singh, Acting Chief Engineer Manvendra Singh has started the exercise of preparing the revised DPR. Metro will run from Sector-62 to Sahibabad station by RapidX train.

Acting Chief Engineer said that the running of Metro from Noida Sector-62 to Sahibabad station rapid train will provide a lot of relief to the passengers of both the cities. Connectivity will be better after the Metro becomes operational. People coming from Delhi and Meerut by boarding RapidX train will be able to easily reach Noida and other places by taking metro from here. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of the people.

Under the DPR prepared for the metro project till Vasundhara Cut, the proposed cost of the said route was estimated at Rs 1517 crore. Now GDA plans to connect Noida Sector-62 Metro with Sahibabad station of Rapid X train. Therefore, DPR will be prepared with minor changes. Due to this, there will be a slight change in the location of the proposed Vasundhara Metro station. A total of five metro stations are proposed from Noida Sector-62 to Sahibabad station of Rapid X train.

After the lobbying of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, a meeting was held a few months ago under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Housing Nitin Ramesh Gokarn, in which government officials told that Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation is working on funding pattern in other cities. above. Ghaziabad authority should come up with a similar proposal.
