Bhaskar had disclosed like this
There were many brokers in this area, who were buying children from poor tribals from every village and sending them to the Bt cotton fields and factories of Gujarat. Children were seen selling on these posts for 3 to 5 thousand rupees. Bhaskar captured this entire trading on camera. On its revelations, a series was run continuously. In this the nexus of smugglers and police was also brought to the fore.

Buying 44 children and handing them over to the police, the complicity of the police also exposed
Bhaskar made different disclosures of trafficking of children in tribal areas continuously since December 21, 2019. Bhaskar bought 44 children and handed them over to the police. Investigated in 127 villages of 3 districts adjoining Gujarat. Rescued 200 children from human traffickers and caught 30 pimps on camera. Investigation revealed that more than 500 jeeps of Gujarat number were engaged in transporting children to tribal areas. Brokers were working in every village to smuggle children.

The condition of poverty is such that in 5-5 thousand rupees, the parents handed over their innocent boys and girls for a year. Whatever he wanted, he could get them done. The complicity of human traffickers with the police also came to the fore. When Bhaskar’s team handed over the children to the police, the Kotra police station officer started hurling action against the smugglers.

The soft hands of children are the reason for their trafficking.
Bhaskar’s investigation revealed that the smugglers used to take their children by paying a nominal amount to the financially weak people and then sent the children to Gujarat by filling them in jeeps. The gentle hands of children are right in working on Bt cotton plants. That’s why most of the workers in these fields take only the children. The soft hands of the children had become the reason for their trafficking.

Children who went to Gujarat returned handicapped
Many children who were smuggled from tribal areas to Gujarat and returned handicapped. Bhaskar saw hundreds of such children in the tribal areas who had gone to work, but when they returned, someone’s hands and feet were severed, then some other part of the body was missing. These children were made to work in factories without safety in extremely dangerous conditions. Many children got scorched and some lost their hands and feet to the machine.

Police set up anti child trafficking cell
After Bhaskar’s revelations, the government formed a separate cell to stop the trafficking of children in tribal areas. The smugglers were caught by conducting an operation in this area.
