New Delhi: Respect recently confirmed that it will soon launch its first foldable smartphone – Honor Magic V coming soon. The company had earlier confirmed that the upcoming foldable phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Now the rumors suggest that Honor V It is said that it will be launched on January 10. The company is expected to reveal the launch details soon.
In an official video, Honor CEO George Zhao has revealed that the company has unveiled a new line of foldable screen products. The Honor foldable smartphone is expected to come with a structural design and the company claims that it will be the best folding screen smartphone in the market.
Zhao also said that the Honor V will feature a complex hinge technology. He further added that the company will also do some software level optimizations for the smartphone.
Honor Magic V Rumor Specs
Honor Magic V is expected to sport an 8-inch internal display. Its resolution will be 2200×2480 pixels. It is rumored to pack 8GB of RAM along with an internal storage capacity of 256GB.
On the camera front, the handset may come with a 108MP camera with 9:1 pixel binning. This means that it will be able to deliver 12MP images when the environment is less than ideal for taking pictures.
Other sensors that may be available on the phone are ultra-wide lens and telephoto camera. On the front, the foldable phone could be equipped with a 16MP camera for selfies.
The device is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery. Honor Magic V can run on Android 11 operating system.
