New Delhi: The Academy has asked Ram Charan, Jr NTR, MM Keeravani and Chandrabose to join, though RRR director SS Rajamouli has been left out. In other categories, director Mani Ratnam has been invited, as well as DOPs Senthil Kumar, Sabu Cyril, Karan Johar and Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli recently attended the Academy Awards 2023, where RRR’s Naatu Naatu received the Best Original Song award. He will soon start production of SSMB 29, his first collaboration with Mahesh Babu. It is being presented as an adventure drama in the style of Indiana Jones. SS Rajamouli has shown interest in working in Hollywood as well. However, he also added that he may have to work with someone to do so.
