SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is nearing its release date after several delays. The team of the film has been engaged in promotions for months, pulling out all the stops to ensure that they reach the maximum audience. The latest stop in his campaign program was the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. Director SS Rajamouli, along with two lead actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, visited the statue to promote the film.
Ram Charan and Jr NTR were seen posing while shaking hands in front of the 182 meter high statue. He also posed with Rajamouli as fans and visitors gathered to watch the stars.
The Statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world, with a height of 182 meters, located in Gujarat. It depicts Indian politician and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel, who was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India and a follower of Mahatma Gandhi.
With the release of RRR, the makers of the magnum opus have planned a multi-city tour across the country to promote the much-awaited film. From Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Baroda, Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkata and Varanasi to Dubai, the makers have chalked out an elaborate promotional plan wherein they will visit major potential markets across the country to promote the film from March 18-22. .
The film features a star-studded lineup apart from lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles, while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody will appear in supporting roles.
Jayanthi Lal Gada of Pen Studios has acquired theatrical distribution rights across North India and has also purchased worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will distribute the film in the North Territory.
