RRR star Ram Charan is finally back in India after his film Naatu Naatu won the Oscars. On Friday evening, the actor met Home Minister Amit Shah. He was accompanied by his father Chiranjeevi.
After the meeting, Home Minister Shah shared some photographs with the two superstars on Twitter. He called Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan ‘two giants of Indian cinema’ and wrote, “The Telugu film industry has significantly influenced India’s culture and economy. The Oscar win for the song Natu-Natu and the phenomenal success of ‘RRR’ But congratulations to Ram Charan.”

Responding to Shah’s tweet, Ram Charan also wrote that it is an honor for him to meet the Home Minister. The actor said, “Thank you sir for appreciating the efforts of the @RRRMovie team.”
Chiranjeevi also shared pictures of his meeting with HM Shah and wrote, “Thank you Mr @AmitShah ji for your warm wishes and blessings to @AlwaysRamCharan on behalf of team #RRR for a successful Oscar campaign and a first for an Indian.” Production to bring home the Oscars! Thrilled to be present on this occasion!”
Ram Charan returned from Los Angeles on Friday morning. He was spotted at the Delhi airport with his wife Upasana Kamineni. Both were greeted with immense joy by hundreds of their fans. Talking about Natu Natu’s historic win at the Oscars, Ram Charan told the media outside the Delhi airport, “I am happy and elated. Thanks to all of you. We are proud of MM Keeravani, SS Rajamouli and Chandrabose. Because of their hard work, we walked the red carpet and brought the Oscars to India.”
