Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh is still married to me, claims Bihar woman

A resident of this north Bihar town has left his family members, including his wife, in shock after he appeared as the husband of actress Rakhi Sawant in the reality show “Bigg Boss”. Ritesh Raj, who appears in a few episodes of the TV show, has been identified by Snigdha Priya, who claims that he has been married since 1 December 2014.

Superintendent of Police Upendra said, “The complainant currently lives in her parents’ house in Nawada. In her complaint submitted to us by her brother Ravikant, she has claimed that she married Ritesh in a marriage hall in Bettiah. ” Nath Verma.

The SP said the woman started living separately a few years ago after filing a complaint of domestic violence against her husband and in-laws, though he claimed that the couple did not divorce each other.

The family of Ritesh Raj, whose father is a retired station master, is also shocked. Riteish’s mother Madhubala Devi said with a feeling of disbelief, “We don’t know when and how he married the actress. I came to know about it from my neighbors who informed me after seeing her on TV.” She said her son was an IIT alumnus, working as a software professional in Bengaluru, who often traveled abroad “due to which he does not keep in touch with us regularly”.

Meanwhile, the SP said that an investigation has been initiated, and based on the evidence, an FIR can be registered against Ritesh Raj under relevant sections of the IPC and Hindu Marriage Act.

According to media reports, Sawant had confirmed her marriage to Ritesh in 2019 and claimed that he was an “NRI”.
