Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait and his supporters will gather for the last time on Wednesday morning at the UP Gate flyover on the Ghazipur border to perform a ‘havan’ to mark the end of the agitation. Tikait will then lead a victory march to his village Sisauli in Muzaffarnagar. Farmer leaders said that the Ghazipur border picket site would be cleared by Wednesday morning. Small batches of protesters are still present there.

At the Singhu border, the Delhi Police on Tuesday broke down almost all the barricades that were put up to prevent the protesting farmers from moving towards the national capital. Farmers started leaving the protest site on the Delhi-Haryana border on Saturday after the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) called off the agitation after the Center repealed three agricultural laws and the government conceded to its other demands.
