He said that among the top officials, DGP Dilbag Singh, Divisional Commissioner and ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh were also present.

Hundreds of people took out a slogan-shouting procession when they gathered at the cremation ground for the last rites, he said.

It may be noted that 4 civilians were killed while 6 others were injured in an attack by suspected terrorists in Dangri village on Sunday evening.

The next morning, two minor children were also killed and a few others injured after an unexploded IED blast in the house of one of the civilians killed in Dangri village.

The attack has created panic and fear among the local people, while security agencies are trying to trace the attack.

On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also reached Dangri village to review the situation and express solidarity with the families of the victims.
