Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held talks with his Malaysian counterpart Hishamuddin bin Hussein on Monday to deepen defense cooperation between the two countries.
“Had a wonderful conversation with Hishamuddin bin Hussein, Senior Defense Minister of Malaysia via video conference,” Singh said on Twitter.
They reaffirmed the strong defense ties between India and discussed opportunities for Malaysia and the two countries to “further deepen our defense cooperation”.
On June 17, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held talks with his Malaysian counterpart Saifuddin Abdullah aimed at taking forward the bilateral strategic partnership.
