Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha tied the knot in November. While videos and pictures from the wedding ceremonies gave a glimpse of the couple’s fun at the wedding, Rajkummar now shared a new video from the wedding reception.
On Tuesday, the Stree actor shared a video on Instagram in which she and her friends, including Paatal Lok star Abhishek Banerjee, came together to sing the hit song Meri. The group took two mics and sang the entire song while a live band accompanied them. As the group sang, Patralekha along with other guests who attended the reception was seen encouraging them.
At one point Rajkumar also broke Bhangra and Patralekha was also seen dancing in the crowd. Rajkummar shared the video and wrote, “Patralekha, hamari shaadi ki ye haseen sham (the beautiful night of our wedding). Sing for the people you love. Kehte ke gana aaya ya na aaya, gana chahi jab woh ek impromptu singing session ban jaye (They say you should sing, whether you know the song or not, especially when it turns into an impromptu singing session.) The video has received love from many people including Ayushmann Khurrana and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Ayushmann took to the comments section and wrote, “Beautiful (beautiful)” while Siddhant dropped a heart emoji. Fans left comments like “that’s so beautiful,” “such a cute video,” and “powerhouse performance.”
Rajkumar and Patralekha dated for 11 years before getting married in November last year. Sharing pictures from his wedding in Chandigarh on Instagram, Rajkummar had said, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married today to everything I have, my soul mate, my best friend, My family. There is no greater joy for me today than to be called your husband @patralekhaa.
