South superstar Rajinikanth is considered one of the living legends of cinema. His films including Thalapathy, Pettam Kabali, Darbar and Annaatthe have left a lasting impression on the public. In his illustrious career spanning decades, Rajinikanth has given many blockbuster films that still evoke the same excitement among his fans. His ardent fans fondly call him Thalaivaa. Being an active participant in welfare activities, Rajinikanth is also associated with several fan clubs.
Recently, one of the followers of the superstar is all set to organize an appreciation party for the actor. The man, Ravi, earlier worked as the Vellore District Secretary of Rajinikanth Fan Club – People’s Forum. Now, they have organized a special felicitation ceremony to honor Rajinikanth. The grand event will be held on March 26 at the Nandanam YMCA grounds in Chennai under the title Manidham Kathu Magizhvom.
Ahead of the occasion, Riyaz K Ahmed, editor-in-chief of V4umedia, tweeted a video on the microblogging platform on 3 March, unveiling Rajinikanth’s photograph. In a translated version of the heart-warming note, he wrote, “I am happy to publish the title of Superstar Rajinikanth’s fan charity event… I am proud to publish this as a fan of the leader.”

In the video, Riyaz and Ravi are captured together in the same frame. Ravi welcomes the editor-in-chief by draping a yellow shawl around his neck. As the video progresses, Riyaz is seen outlining the name of the event – Manidham Kathu Magizvam on a white paper spread over a huge photo frame. After Rajinikanth’s picture and the name of the ceremony are revealed, both Riyaz and Ravi pose for a picture together.
Apart from felicitating the famous Tamil star, the event will also see welfare activities being organized for Rajinikanth’s fans. The actor has already got permission to organize the event. This is not the first time Ravi has thrown a party in appreciation of the 72-year-old actor. He has been providing welfare assistance in the name of Rajinikanth for some time now.
Sources claim that well-known personalities from the film fraternity will attend the grand felicitation ceremony.
