Amidst the ongoing loudspeaker controversy in Maharashtra, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray has written an open letter challenging CM Uddhav Thackeray. In this letter, Raj Thackeray has described the action being taken against MNS workers as unjust. Raj said that power does not last forever. Don’t test our tolerance, we also know how to answer it.

He further wrote- ‘This action of the government is being watched by the entire Hindu society along with Maharashtra. So far, 28 thousand MNS workers have been given notices regarding loudspeakers. They are being searched as if they are some terrorists. Power comes and goes. No one brought the copper plate of strength… Uddhav Thackeray, not even you.’

Hindu watching these cruel, oppressors: Raj

Raje further wrote in the letter, ‘Have tortured thousands of our workers and put many in jail. Why?, to stop noise pollution and demand removal of illegal loudspeakers from mosques. In the last one week, the way the government is using police force to suppress the soldiers of Maharashtra, has the state government or police ever conducted such a search operation to find weapons and terrorists hiding in mosques? Police is looking for our colleague Sandeep Deshpande and many other activists as if they are terrorists of Pakistan. All Marathi people, all Hindus are watching with open eyes those who have ordered the police to take this brutal, repressive action against the soldiers of Maharashtra.

War of words continues between the two Thackeray brothers
There is a verbal war between the two Thackeray brothers over the loudspeakers installed in the mosques. Raj challenged Uddhav in the rally in Aurangabad and gave an ultimatum to remove loudspeakers from all the mosques in the state soon. After this, the police have registered a case regarding the rally. Raj Thackeray is constantly attacking Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray regarding Hindutva and ideology. Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut have many times called Raj Thackeray the ‘D’ team of BJP.

During the past few days, Raj has been targeting his cousin and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray directly in his rallies.

Opposition to Raj’s visit to Ayodhya
Raj Thackeray has announced to come to Ayodhya on June 5 to visit Ram temple. Meanwhile, BJP MP Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh protested his visit and demonstrated strength today. He took out a roadshow along with a large number of his supporters and said that he will not allow Raj Thackeray to enter the border of Ayodhya.

Describing Thackeray’s protest as his personal matter other than the BJP, Braj Bhushan Singh declared, “Let me make it clear, my protest has nothing to do with my party, I am a descendant of Ram first, then North Indian and lastly.” I am a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

‘Raj Thackeray is not a domineering, he is a rat, a rat’
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh performed a road show with the convoy on Tuesday. He called upon the people to protest firmly against the arrival of Raj Thackeray in Ayodhya. He declared that the insult of North Indians would no longer be tolerated.

Talking to reporters, the BJP MP said, ‘Raj Thackeray is not Dabangg, he is a rat, a rat.’ The MP claimed that he has the support of the Marathas and considers Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as his role model.
