Raj Kundra told me Shilpa Shetty liked my work: Sherlyn Chopra

Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra has alleged that businessman Raj Kundra, arrested in a porn film production case, told her that his wife Shilpa Shetty liked his work.

Sherlyn told that Raj Kundra had approached her to make films and she signed an agreement in March this year.

“He wanted me to join him and the name of the app would be ‘Sherlyn Chopra App’.

Sherlyn Chopra was summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch’s property cell on Friday for questioning in a porn film production case in which Kundra was arrested last month.

He said that Kundra wants different videos in the app, which are glamour, high fashion, fitness, fun and other things. She said that initially the concept was glamor and then she was told about “half-naked and nude films”.

“During the shoot, I was encouraged. They used to say that I am doing great and Shilpa has seen your pictures and videos and appreciated my work. And when you get so much praise from seniors you get this It doesn’t feel like you’re doing something wrong and it makes you think about doing better,” she said.

“I was told that whatever they are doing is not wrong, we were not given any legal notice during that time…

Asked about pornography being illegal and why joining films, she said that she was “the one who first went to the Maharashtra Cyber Crime Branch”.

“I never denied that I didn’t run my app. I have recorded my statement in the cyber branch,” she said.

“I have never given false assurances or misled anyone. I did not make a film, I did not make a pornographic film on the pretext of hiring a girl,” he said.

The Bombay High Court had on August 2 reserved its order on petitions by Raj Kundra and his aide Ryan Thorpe challenging their arrest in connection with a pornography racket case.

During the court proceedings, the investigating officer told the court that 68 obscene videos were found from Kundra’s laptop.

Police said the script of a film containing sexual material was also recovered from Kundra’s personal laptop.

On July 27, a Mumbai court sent Kundra along with his aide Ryan Thorpe to 14-day judicial custody.

Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19 along with 11 others for allegedly making obscene films.

Earlier on July 25, the police had informed that four employees of Kundra have become witnesses against him in the pornography racket case.
