Railway Recruitment 2023: South Central Railway has 4,103 vacancies, South Eastern Railway has 2,026 vacancies and North Western Railway has 1,785 vacancies.
Indian Railways is inviting applications for a total of 7,914 vacancies. The Recruitment Cell of South Central Railway (SCR), South Eastern Railway (SER) and North Western Railway (NWR) has released advertisement for recruitment in 2023 in the respective department.
South Central Railway has 4,103 vacancies, South Eastern Railway has 2,026 vacancies and North Western Railway has 1,785 vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates for Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023 can apply online by visiting the website of the concerned zone.
The online application process started from December 30, 2022. Candidates are advised to check details and fill application by visiting official sites – scr.indianrailways.gov.in, rrcser.co.in, and rrcjaipur.in.
Indian Railway Recruitment 2023: Vacancy Details
As per the official notification, there are 4,103 posts for Apprentice in South Zone. This region connects Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. There are 2,026 vacancies for Apprentice in South Eastern Zone. There are 1,785 vacancies for Apprentice in Railway in North Western Region.
Indian Railway Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
educational qualification: For this, candidates must have a Matriculation (10th class in 10+2 examination system) degree with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognized board and an ITI pass certificate (in the trade in which the apprenticeship is to be done). Awarded by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Range: The age limit prescribed by the department is that applicants must have completed 15 years of age as on January 1, 2023, and must not exceed 24 years. There is age relaxation for reserved candidates.
Indian Railway Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
As per the notice, the selection process will be based on the merit list. A merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates who have secured at least 50 percent marks in matriculation and ITI in the trade. The application process will start from January 10, 2023 and candidates can fill the form till February 10, 2023.
