Fans of singer Rahul Vaidya, who are busy watching Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11, went awry after one of the latest promos of the show was released on Monday. As the audience got to see their favorite celebrity contestants in the ongoing stunt/game show, one of its recent promos, featuring television actor Arjun Bijlani, did not go down well with Rahul’s fans on social media.
On Monday, the makers of the show released the promo of an upcoming episode in which Arjun compared the behavior of his fellow contestants Shweta Tiwari and Rahul to some animals. In the promo, Arjun says, “There are such strange poor creatures here, you will be blown away. Look, she is Shweta driver like a fox who doesn’t get grapes, if she doesn’t get victory in stunts, she starts eating grapes. (Here you will find such strange people that you will be surprised. Look at Shweta, she is a clever fox. If she gets grapes, that is, if she doesn’t win a stunt, she finds grapes sour.) Rahul taking a selfie Arjun is heard saying, “Rahul’s appearance is like a hyena. There is no such quality in it. (Rahul’s face is like a hyena, he has no other qualities).
It was this comment made by Arjun in the promo that left Rahul’s fans sad as he expressed his views on social media. With an apology from Rahul Vaidya trending on social media, fans expressed their disapproval for the promo. One user tweeted, “This shameful act is not acceptable.” Another user tweeted, “Not good at all, we love Rahul. Don’t mess with him, Colors TV, you did enough in Bibi (Bigg Boss), not anymore.”
Some found that the promo is promoting “body shaming” as one fan tweeted, “I am not going to watch KKK after this. It shows popular actors and such popular singers on national TV for Colors TV. It’s a shame.”
