Rahul Gandhi takes a dig at PM on US Vice President Kamala Harris’ remark?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking if he understood US Vice President Kamala Harris’s remarks about democracy and protecting institutions.

Sharing Kamala Harris’s comment, she asked in an Instagram post, “Did they get it.”

“It is imperative that we defend democratic principles and institutions in our respective countries and around the world and that we uphold what we must do to strengthen democracies at home, and that is up to our nations, of course. To protect democracies in the best way possible. The interests of the people of our countries,” Harris said in his remarks jointly addressing the media in the United States.

Prime Minister Modi is on a tour of America. He held discussions with Harris on Friday and met with President Joe Biden.
