The Covid pandemic and the Omicron fear does not seem to have any effect on Pushpa. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna fans continue to shower love with Pushpa: The Rise Part 1. According to a report in Box Office India, Pushpa (Hindi) remained steady on its third Tuesday with a net collection of 2.50 crores. Showing impressive results at the ticket window, the film has now surpassed its second week number in just 5 days of the third week. The total collection of this film is more than 67 crores.

Almost three weeks after its release in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, “Pushpa: The Rise” continues to garner audiences in theatres. While the film was expected to hit the Rs 100 crore milestone, the low levels or huge business due to the COVID restrictions in Maharashtra and Gujarat might not allow the film to achieve. Also, since the makers have announced to release Pushpa on OTT on January 7, this will affect the business of the film.

Worldwide, according to film trade analysts, it has earned over Rs 300 crore.

Written and directed by Telugu director Sukumar, the star cast of the action-packed thriller includes Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajoy Ghosh along with Allu Arjun.

Known for his classy urban looks, the stylish star of Tollywood known as Allu Arjun stunned everyone by choosing a rustic role in his first foray outside the South Indian languages market.

Although ‘Pushpa’ is his first offering to the Hindi audience, Allu Arjun is a familiar face, thanks to the dubbed versions of his films which are very popular in North India. Arjun insisted that his choice of film and role was not a gamble.

“This is my first Hindi theatrical release. It definitely exceeded my expectations. When we released the film, we didn’t have high expectations. It’s like a test of the waters. I’m so glad we did it right . First shot. It’s amazing that we got our first shot right,” Allu Arjun told IANS.
