Punjab: Meenakshi Lekhi slams AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Delhi talk | Ludhiana News – Times of India

LUDHIANA: Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal did not do anything on the ground and misguided the voters with his Rs 524 crore advertisement in Delhi and was now playing similar games in Punjab, BJP alleged on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference here to highlight the “achievements of the Union government” Union minister of state for external affairs, Meenakshi Lekhi said on Saturday: “Arvind Kejriwal did nothing in Delhi for the public but spent public funds on advertisements that too to take credit of the central government’s schemes and now he is repeating the same things in Punjab.” She said in 2015, it was due to PM Narendra Modi that yoga got recognition at the international level and ‘Yoga Day’ came into existence, and Kejriwal placed advertisements with his picture to claim credit. “Like Punjab, Delhi is also coming down,” she alleged.
Ram Tirath in Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Chamkaur Sahib, Khatkhat Kalan, Jallianwala bagh, all these sites have been renovated as part of the central government’s efforts, she said. Work on Heritage City in Amritsar was also done by BJP, she claimed.
