Mysore: In its 102nd convocation, the University of Mysore (UOM) will honor the late actor Puneet Rajkumar With Honorary Doctorate. The annual convocation of the university will be held on March 22.
In 1976, Kannada actor Rajkumar was also awarded an honorary doctorate by the university. On Sunday, Vice Chancellor G Hemantha Kumar said that Puneet’s wife Ashwini accepted the honor and would receive it from Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot. Folk artist M Mahadevaswamy and former DRDO director VK Atre will also be conferred with honorary doctorates.
Various degrees will be awarded to 28,581 candidates at the convocation.
