PSEB 12th Result Expected by June 30: From Passing Marks to Result Date, All You Need to Know

Punjab School education The Board (PSEB) is likely to declare the Term 2 results for class 12 by the end of June, however, no official announcement has been made by the board yet. Once out, PSEB Class 12 Term 2 results will be available on the official website of Punjab Board, pseb.ac.in.

Punjab Board had earlier declared the class 12 board exam results for class 1 on May 12. Whereas Term 2 exam will end on 23rd May. The final merit list and pass percentage will be released on the basis of marks obtained by the students in both. terms. Accordingly, the final merit list or toppers list will be declared.

Step 1: Visit the official website of PSEB

Step 2: Now, on the homepage, click on the tab that reads ‘Results’

Step 3: After that, choose your class

Step 4: Fill the required information like exam roll number, date of birth etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button.

Step 6: Your mark sheet will be displayed on your screen.

PSEB 12th Result 2022: How To Check Through SMS

To check class 12 result, type PB12 roll number in the message tab and send it to 5676750, in no time, you will receive an SMS with your subject-wise marks.

After getting the result online, candidates need to take a printout of their mark sheet for future reference. The marksheet will act as provisional till you get the original mark sheet from your schools. Students must check all the details carefully after downloading their result. In case of any discrepancy in PSEB marksheet, students must contact to Punjab Board officials or their respective schools.

PSEB 12th Result 2022: Passing Marks

To pass, students need at least 33 percent marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. Students who are not satisfied with their result can opt for revaluation. Those who miss it by few marks will be given a chance to appear in compartment exam. However, those who fail the compartment exam will have to repeat the year.

Last year, the Punjab Board promoted all the students without exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic and this year the board conducted two board exams. Over 2.92 lakh students had registered for PSEB 12th exam in 2021 and a total of 96.48 per cent students were promoted to the next class. A total of 22,175 students had scored 90 percentile and above while 88,150 students had scored between 80-90 percentile. Around 1,19,802 students scored between 70-80 per cent and 48,843 in the range of 60-70 per cent marks. In 2020, 90.98 percent of the 2.9 lakh students who took the exam passed. The pass percentage in 2019 was recorded at 86.41 percent.
