National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 To be held in a few weeks. Future doctors and NEET aspirants are in a state of confusion as they have very little time left to prepare for the medical entrance exam. The candidates have also planned a candlelight protest tonight demanding the postponement of NEET 2022 on the occasion of Doctor’s Day.
According to the candidates, CUET, and JEE Main are falling around the same time, Due to which the preparation for the exam becomes difficult. Also, those who could not make it through NEET 2021 counseling say that it ended late and thus they have only a few months left to prepare for the exam, which is conducted once a year . Students have also taken to various social media platforms to put forth their demands. NEET 2022 aspirants have now taken to Twitter with the hashtag #RemoveDharmendraPradhan.
A Twitter user wrote, “If #NEET is not postponed then remember Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP, Narendra Modi, I am not going to vote even a single vote for BJP in my life.” While another wrote, ‘Today is Doctor’s Day. Stay united and request the government for adjournment so that they can listen… #MODIJIextendNEETUG #postponeneetug2022,” while sharing about the candle march to be held today at 7:30 PM India gate.

The students are demanding an adjournment of around 40-60 days. He has highlighted that since the academic year does not start till February next year, the delay in exams will not affect the new session. Instead, if six months are reserved for counselling, it gets delayed. Earlier, more than 10,000 candidates had written National Testing Agency (NTA)stating his demands. He wrote that CUET for admission to UG courses offered by various central universities including DU, JNU is also to be conducted in July.
